Project Description: AI 101 Prompt Engineering equips faculty members across disciplines with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively and ethically integrate artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT, into their teaching practices. Through four self-paced modules, faculty participants explore the fundamentals of prompt engineering, apply prompts to instructional tasks, develop student-facing prompts, and refine their use through iteration. The project focused on learner diversity, accessibility, and the integration of realworld applications of AI in education. The e-learning module was designed for delivery through Canvas, with multimedia components, reflective discussions, and practical exercises to engage adult learners

Project Description: Lights, Camera, Connection is a professional development module created as a self-paced training resource to help faculty enhance instructor presence in online and hybrid learning environments. Research consistently shows that a visible, instructor presence increases student engagement, satisfaction, and motivation. This project addresses a key instructional gap by equipping faculty with practical strategies and tools to create short, authentic instructional videos that humanize their courses. The module includes four interactive sections scripting, recording, captioning, and embedding/sharing, each designed to build competence and confidence in video creation. Faculty participants engage in practice activities, upload examples via Padlet, and complete self-checks and reflection prompts. The final assessment is a reflective activity where participants describe specific ways, they plan to integrate video presence into their own courses.
